If I had the means to arrange all that, do you think I'd waste my time posting here at all?

Posted up in the Item Link thread in this section about a fix someone made for using Wowhead for item links.

I agree with Ynnus that these alternating colours for posts are just distracting. They're giving the impression that the posts are not of equal importance or that they are not all normal posts. The white space between the posts are enough to separate them. Alternating colours can be used for wide tables with rows close together so that you can keep track of each row as you read data from different columns - there are often no other separating lines between such rows.

Alternating colours are here to stay. Live with it, or turn down the settings on your monitors

/shrug. I don't see why you couldn't add another skin where .bg1 is the same as .bg2.

I don't see why he
should add another skin, his time could be better spent elsewhere, on his own projects.

He said couldn't, not shouldn't. Merely a suggestion. Honestly, you lot can get het up about anything

If I can work out how to access the forums at file level, I'll attempt to fiddle with the CSS today or tomorrow and put an alternate template on.

Signatures may contain up to five lines (one line being that displayed on a browser opened to 800px width) of text (of small or normal size) and/or one image, valid combinations include; a single image of no more than 90px high, 468px wide and 60kB in size. Signatures containing an image this large may also include one line of small size text. Signatures containing an image of 30px high may include up to three lines of small size text or two lines of normal size text. Images of 15px height or less may allow up to three lines of normal size text or four lines of small size text. Animated images are not allowed.
I tried adding an image to my signature, from DKPsigs. The image is 400x90px and 25kB (within the limits). Trying to save it i got the message
It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.
