My understanding from day 1 was that it was a no no.

(This is why most of RRF moved out a few months back when we all went imp).

I see no reason for this to have changed.

Sunfall is a rebel city.

Though short term I see no issue with it at all, as well as those with a reason (i.e. doing it for getting base times or for generating cirtain quests such as the DWB overlord)

Is imperial...

Not technically a question, more of a statement, and one that is now invalid as Gryffon is no longer Imperial (such a move was not supported by the members of -EB- anyway, who will remain a rebel PA reguardless of the affiliation of the leader) Admins, please delete both this and the quoted entry.

I''ll likely think of something to ask that hasn''t already been covered by others.

These stem from Mav''s question, but i''ve worded them to be clearer to the candidates.

1) Should the candidate find themselves under the leadership of an Imperial alligned player, What assurances can they offer that this will not affect their fullfillment of their mayoral duties?

2)Would the candidate be willing to stand down from or revert to a position within the City Council should they themselves seek to change affiliation? (The latter being a possible solution to Question 3, but something that should be addressed)

3) Despite Sunfall being a Rebel City, it has always claimed to allow entry to players of any affiliation, would there be someone on the city council to ensure to ensure fair treatment of those that are not Rebel alligned?

1.) Should not happen. No guild head of a Sunfall based guild should be imperial, this is why I left town when I went imp.

2.) Yes, I quit the city as a citizen when I was imp, no way would I stay as mayor.

3.) ANYone who treats people badly in town will be city banned, rebel or imperial.

Surely if this is the case, then the contender should either revert to rebel status or stand down as a candidate from the election? Afterall Sunfall is rebel and having a imperial mayor would go against everything the city has stood for.

imperial mayor? me cute fwuffy rebel and always will.. what gryf did was damn right stupid and he knows this.. i will not be in no imp guild and sunfall will ALWAYS be a rebel city

Moving off topic here people.

In short both candidates so no imp mayor / guild head is acceptable.

Next :)

Is this a job for life? No
When it is time for me to step down I will.
RRF can do and will change faction as they will (you do know it is now basically a defunt guild as most of us went to Wow, so those that remained joined SFR) If RRF went imp and I was still in it then I would step down (as I said before, when we did it well quit the city until we went reb again) You want me to say I will forever be SFR and rebel? Tough, it aint going to happen. If it is time for me to change then I will but as a matter of curtisy I will stay until a suitable replacment is found.
The citizens have a choice to make. I am far from perfect, but hey, that is what makes Mojo, Mojo. Think Ka''rebear summed it up perfectly, you get the right sence of "will he stich me up" from Mojo to know you can feel comfortable.

Nagan''roe wrote:Do you think its fair to have a mayor in sunfall who is part of a guild or group that changes faction, stance so quickly and irratically? the mayor position i believe is a full time serious one. what do you guys think?

i knew nothing about some of EB going imp so i pretty much think its a bit harsh to hold that against me.. this is about me doing a good job as mayor not the rest of eb

What garuntee do we have that RRF or EB wont go and change faction when it suits them again or leave this guild form that one etc etc?

i would never change faction.. ever... this is about me been mayor and doing whats best for sf..

Why should we as citizens believe that you would take this position anymore serious than you do those?
