Change of GM for Sunfall in WoW

Post by Betelgeuse » Thu Aug 09, 2007 1:20 pm

Just thought I'd mention it here too:
For personal reasons, Stormbeard has decided to leave his position as Guild Master of Sunfall. This is due to a change in his personal commitment to real life, resulting in needing to play less, and not due to any disagreements or guild politics. All conspiracy theories can thus exit stage left.

Stormbeard has been Guild Master for (guessing here) around two years now, and in that time Sunfall has grown from a smaller casual guild into the number one guild on the server (based on the point score in EU Realm Stats, score calculated based on number of members and player levels.)

Finding a replacement for Stormbeard was an easy task, and we asked Roadkill to take over as Guild Master. To our disappointment it turned out pets cannot actually be promoted to Guild Master status due to a flaw in game mechanics. This made the decision much more complicated, and after much deliberation we decided that the officer most closely resembling Roadkill is Yubari.

Congratulations Yubari, new Guild Master of Sunfall. We can sense that the Emo is strong in you, young noob.

There is no room in the Ivory tower for any other warrior. My ego won't allow it.

Turned out Yubari was not nearly pr0 enough and didn't ninjaroll when he was supposed to, so he's been kicked out of the Ivory Tower, and Roadkill is new GM! Hurrah!
